… but what you can do for your Society!
Ah, the joys of service! In September, after 4 or 5 years away from the committee, I stepped back up to the mark as Vice President of the Society of Editors (Queensland) Inc. Since then I have had scant time to blog!
Under Kerry Davies’ excellent leadership, we plunged straight into running the Society’s 20th anniversary party, which was a great deal of work, and well worth it.
Now we are into a flurry of behind the scenes work to revitalise the systems and processes that keep a professional organisation going.
